Yes, indeed it is time to play. 

I don't know what it is with cats and boxes. It dates back to time immemorial. Possibly when some bored Neanderthals carved boxes out of granite blocks for their pet sabre tooth kittens. 

Boxes are handy little pieces of territory that can be easily annexed and owned, and fiercely defended. Elio definitely loves her box.
