Hearts-a-Bustin'

A little while ago I blipped a burning bush (as an extra) - which in that case was a non-native plant, presumably a garden escapee. This... thing - fruit? - is on the American strawberry bush, or hearts-a-bustin, or hearts-a-bustin-with-love, or bursting-heart, which is also a euonymus. Euonymus americanus, to be specific. But this one is a native plant.

I've been looking for this for some weeks now and was beginning to fear it had somehow disappeared from where I've seen it before. But then this morning there one was!!!
