Felt a bit nostalgic today when putting these protective trousers on sale. Nonetheless, it's better that they find a new home/owner who can get more use out of them.

For readers interested in biking: I used to have a Tiger 800 ABS and notched up thousands of kilometres on it over six years, then a Kawasaki Versys 650 SE for four years until the end of this summer. Taking teens, early twenties and an urban scooter into account, that's a lifetime total of twenty years on motorbikes. :-)

Nowadays, we share a car and I've acquired an environmentally-friendly electric scooter for going into town (2-3km). We also have two supermarkets within a kilometre or so, a nice walk, and good exercise. Glad to be doing what I can to reduce one's carbon footprint. On a linked note: while one is able, why not enjoy a stroll instead of paying to use a running/walking conveyor belt-style machine at a gym?!
