Autumn crocuses

What a joy to see pretty bulb flowers even in autumn. I never knew that the bulbs of autumn crocuses (herfsttijloos in Dutch) can flower without soil or water and still will be viable to plant in the garden after the flowering ! Found them in the village flower shop two weeks ago when there were just two small sprouts coming out of the bulb.
