C15 Export boom (Widwed121022)

Back in the 15th Century a boom in sales of wool from the Cotswolds brought in enough wealth to build some quite spectacular churches.  St Peter & St Pauls in Northleach is said to be one of the finest.

More on the church here

My blip is from the path leading up to the church,  an alternative view in Fitzbilly's journal from our blipmeet in Northleach this morning.  Technophobe has a blip from the court room at the old prison where we all met up.
As ever - an enjoyable time in good company - with coffee and cake involved too.
Lunch at the curious wine bar was very good - great choice of GF pasties.
Well worth a look in Gallery9 too should you find yourself in Northleach.
One of the owners is a photographer and you can see her work on display there.
Thanks to Fitzbilly for organising the blipmeet and also for putting me onto an offer from Amazon Prime as part of their sale promotion.
12 months of Adobe Photo Plan (Lightroom & Photoshop) for £73.89
Worth a look if you have a subscription - but the offer ends this evening.

Thanks also to BobsBlips for Wide Wednesday hosting ... I'm 99% sure this meets the theme of 'old'.
