A Bridge Too Far

James Logan, a friend of my wife's family, said that he was the fellow on the left in the above photograph. He said the photograph was staged. James was a British Paratrooper at Arnhem during World War Two.

He was a coal miner that lived in a Scottish village near Lockerbie, maybe Bankshill. Eventually he and his wife, Ann, immigrated to Canada where they lived in Beachville, Ontario. And they retired to London, Ontario where he and Ann died. Ann reached the age of 100.
