A new hearing aid

The slogan for this new hearing aid is: Live better, no matter how you hear. Thank you, yes that is true. : )

The metastases were in the focus last week when I visited my doctor, but the nurse who knows me since 2011, noticed that even with my hearing aid I had difficulty in following the doctor's speech. I saw that she typed something on her computer, then talked on the phone, and then stepped out for a minute only to come back with this small item that the audiologist, who also knows me since 2011 had sent to me. What gesture!

Two days later, my friend visited me briefly, and with the help of this tiny gadget I was able to listen and talk normally.

But best of all was tonight when encouraged by another friend (whose husband is almost as deaf as I am) recommended that I test this product by listening to audio books or music programs on the  Broadcasting Company site called Arena. I did so, and I am amazed how well I could hear both speech and music played by the symphony orchestra. Entirely different sound from the in-ear hearing aids!
