I had my cycling shorts on for this late afternoon ride.

Once at the loch loitering with the camera was inevitable. I was talking briefly with tourists, a young couple from close to Frankfurt. They told me of some of their recent Scottish camping/hiking adventures. They were certainly making every second count.

After the sun set there was an immediate chill in the air and I realised I was a bit underdressed for the rest of the ride. It certainly encouraged me to pedal harder to build up heat.
