Scary

We’re busy at the garden centre preparing for our scarecrow festival/Halloween event. One or two of the cabins already have their scarecrows in place, this unusual looking creation sits in the cafe opposite my shop. When I got there this morning I thought it was a customer slumped over a table!!
The sale of the garden centre seems to be taking a long time, we’re now being told it may be sometime in December. It’s making a lot of the cabin holders feel very unsettled and maybe even unmotivated. I think in the long run new owners will be a good thing but since I’ve had the shop it seems like one hurdle after another…covid, cost of living crisis, sale of the garden centre.
