Our own Dawn Chorus Walk

Son #2 and I went on our own Dawn Chorus Walk through pretty much all of this countryside in this picture. We set off at 4.30am in the dark with bats flying around us and the birds were just beginning their song. Son was thrilled with the adventure of it all.
Soon the Dawn Chorus reached its crescendo as we had an outdoor breakfast of hot chocolate and coissants.
We ascended a local hill, Y Golfa, and caught sight of a fox which was exciting, before dropping down into a lovely valley of fields, woodland and dingles.
Son wants to do it again next weekend!
