Dodging the rain

Heading up to Falkirk for a weekend of orienteering. Our club qualified for the Compass Sport Cup Final. Clubs from around the U.K. went through qualifying rounds to qualify for the final on Sunday.

We opted for a route up the east coast, which although slower gave opportunities to enjoy the coastal scenery. The only downside was slow traffic in Edinburgh.

Stopped in Bamburgh just as a heavy shower arrived. We had lunch and were lucky that by the time we finished the rain had stopped. So donned our waterproofs just in case and headed towards the beach for a walk. The light was variable but grabbed this view of Bamburgh Castle on the way back to the car.
