Helena Handbasket

I booked the day off work today so that I could join my mum and my sister at the Cornelia Parker exhibition at Tate Britain. I confess I'd never heard of her, but Arachne's description of her work was mouthwatering. We had all set out from our separate homes this morning so it was enormous fun to discover that anyone who hadn't known that could easily have thought that our mum had dressed her daughters the same to prevent squabbling.
This wire has been made from bullets and I loved the way that the lighting in the gallery was casting double shadows.
Lots and lots of very exciting work – highly recommended.
