Geese and the moon

Not much today, not for lack of trying.  A few appointments and errands in the morning and a stop by mom and dad's house.  Then off for a long walk to photograph birds....no birds.  I ran into a lady from the Columbia Land Trust, they work in preserving land for the cranes and she explained it has been so dry the birds are not hanging out in the lowlands now as there is no water in the wetlands.  I only saw one song bird for this is it for today.
