... the lady was almost being force-fed.

A more accurate description was that she had asked to taste whatever he had in the paper bag. 

He seemed determined to make sure she didn't eat all his food. I think he was ready to snatch it back, if he felt she was being greedy.

Fortunately, they were so intent on 'fairness' that neither noticed the camera.
