The Road to Glasgow 2014

A quick snap of one of the Commonwealth venues after a day of activity on the Green with the Elite Squad for the Bowls.

The bowling Green is in the foreground with Glasgow University as the backdrop. In the other direction is the Kelvingrove Art Gallery as the backdrop. It will look superb on television and the current thinking is that its so iconic the TV channels may have this as the centre of their coverage for the Games and not just for Bowls events

Luckily it stayed mostly dry and not nearly as cold as yesterday - just as well as I have to stand about a lot doing Data Capture and Performance Analysis. Serious stuff!

A rushed Blip as I'm off to the Sunday Pub Quiz - first time this year. As we won on our last visit (in November) I wonder if that means we are still champions!
