Do not applaud, just throw money

Worked this morning with a client in the Metal Box Factory on Great Guildford Street (a place I first worked during the late 1990s). Got there via Blackfriars Station and passed this somewhat ungainly statue as I passed to the west of Tate Modern. Apparently, it is a "celebration of all the artists who will never make it into the hallowed art galleries of London" with the inscription 'Non Plaudite Modo Pecuniam Jacite' (“Do not applaud, just throw money”).
