Take Off

Tara and I visited Home Depot this morning. It was her first time out to one of her very favorite stores since she had her two surgeries this past year. She's back to her friendly/silly self, enjoying pets and treats from customers and staff.  We spotted lots of birds enjoying the Depot's water catchment pond. This Little Blue Heron was one of several searching the shallow water for tasty little creatures. In the *extra...I was happy to see two Wood Storks in the shallows and caught this one on a 'fly by'. Also a beautiful little Tricolored Heron minnow-hunting by the edge.
