Last

Last day so before our usual marathon walk we jumped over to Los Lobos island which we’ve been opposite all week and seemed like THE thing to do.
We caught the first water taxi, bright and bushy tailed looking for adventure. Slightly disappointed that we weren’t greeted by La Bamba on loop, but perhaps I was taking it too literally. Ummm what we found was a lava field full of rather dull black rock. Not pretty. We walked to the little hamlet of houses, El Puertito and found the islands one and only restaurant which already had a huge queue of Spaniards booking lunch. I nipped in and caught this lovely view out to the natural harbour.
But honestly, other than that, there was nowt.
We were on the next water taxi back and resumed our usual beach regime and decamped at 5.30pm to the Sunset bar for our usual nightly Aperol. Great band playing and stupidly we didn’t stop at our usual two. Three felt like fun, the fourth was suicide!
Don’t remember how I got back to the hotel, but had the worst dose of the spins, conked out and woke up at midnight having missed dinner. Stupid girl.
Me and drink? No can do!
