Maldives day 7

My squirrel obsession has been replaced with a bats while I'm here in the Maldives. They are amazing, I had thought they only came out at night but they fly about here all day and especially at dusk.

This fruit bat is also known as the flying fox and has a wing span of 4 feet. It can live for 30 years. Mr WeeL was watching a game of football today so I felt I had to get as good a picture as he did yesterday. So I developed a new condition (for me) known as patience and it paid off.
