Wasp (German Yellow Jacket)

I was hopeful that the warm sun would encourage an interesting bug or two, but I could only find shield beetles and wasps. I've blipped several shield beetles this summer, but never a wasp. I don't think it's a common wasp, so would be very happy for an ID from a knowledgeable wasp person.
