Yet another bit of wall but this time with a Tree

And not just any tree, THE TREE that many visitors come just to see. Then turn round and go back to the car park. Yes its Sycamore Gap or "Robin Hood Tree."
Day #3. I walked ( about 8km) this morning from Steel Rigg carpark to Housesteads Fort to see the special 1900 years celebration installation that will be dismantled at the end of the month.   The aim of the installation is to show how imposing the fort was and enable visitors to climb up inside the scaffolding to the height of the original wall.  It is brightly coloured to celebrate the wall, the many community groups who have a hand in making it and because the fort was painted, although not like this obviously - see extra - taken from afar showing how imposing the fort will have looked back in the day
