Trinket box

This box was made by the Amish people south of Chicago. I don’t know exactly where as we were taken there by Norm’s cousin and her husband a few years ago. It was a very interesting day. Norm was very taken with the  horse and buggy used for transport. There was a field with a plough pulled by 6 horses and next door the non Amish person had a tractor. I only noticed when I took the photo that the painting is signed.
