The run in

Thank you so much for the response to yesterday’s Kelpies. I will try to catch up with everyone soon. 

Today was the Compass Sport Cup Final. The photo shows the fast run in but with a killer climb involved just out of shot.  The club flags were flying and lots of support for every finisher. 

I struggled with the first couple of controls whilst trying to make sense of the vegetation which seemed to mask the contour detail. Settled down after that but glad to finish after a tiring weekend. 

A long drive home. Thank goodness we have two drivers to split the journey. We opted for the quicker motorway route rather than the east cost route. Went smoothly until an Amazon Prime van caused chaos by blocking the fast Lane. I presume it had broken down. Fortunately we were only held up for a short while.
