The Pumpkin Patch

This is where we got our pumpkins last year - it's a church yard and this is about 25% of the pumpkins they have.  I liked the fact that lots of youngsters were helping with the lifting, carrying, organizing.  We are looking forward to a neighborhood Halloween with lots of kiddos for Trick or Treating.  After 30 years of never having a single one (the houses were too far apart and the road and driveways too dark), it will be a treat. Jon went out to get candy last week so there would be a good variety - I'm not sure how you can spend $70 on mini candy bars but he managed saying he didn't know how many Trick or Treaters there would be and he didn't want to run out.  I think he wanted to be the most popular guy in the neighborhood.   We'll have a couple of Jack o'Lanterns too it seems.
