Choisya

The squirrel came back overnight. I had put all the soil and broken plant back in place, but there it was this morning, all dug up again. So this morning I replanted it and packed the compost down firmly. I put a layer of gravel on top, and sprinkled the area with curry powder! Who knows, it might put him off.
There is another confused plant in my garden in addition to yesterday’s Christmas rose. The book says choisya flower in late spring and early summer but mine has chosen to flower again in October. It is very welcome as there is very little in flower at the moment.
