BBC had a breaking news alert implying that an avian flu housing order would come into force throughout England today, but the government website didn't feature that update (except for East Anglia); I waited for clarification, and the BBC article subsequently changed to say that a new Avian Influenza Protection Zone (AIPZ) would cover GB with strict biosecurity measures, but there is not yet a housing order (phew).
So, I let the duckules out for ages just in case they're soon to be confined to the run again.
