One Green Bottle

Busy with admin today so this is an EB. It has been an early and good apple harvest this year. Our Cox's Orange Pippin tree is laden. I've photographed a green bottle fly on one of the ripe fruits. I love the tiny yellow specks in the skin which give an effect as though the fruit is lit from within.
