Standing to Attention

Spent some lovely time out in the garden - such a joy on a warm sunny afternoon.  I'm not sure what these are - I have a few of them in the garden - some dark like these, others lighter and others lighter still....almost white.  They don't last long as flowers but they make a beautiful splash when they are in bloom.  Spring is most definitely one of my favourite seasons....... so fresh and colourful and full of promise.
