HOMECOMING COURT

Some of my Blip friends expressed a desire to see the "official" photo of the local high school Homecoming Court.

This is it and consists of all Senior students as nominated by the student body. All are athletic participants.  At the Saturday Night Dance, the KING and QUEEN are voted from among the court members.  The KING is the 3rd from the right in the back row; the QUEEN is the 1st from the right in the front row.  Being selected as King and Queen is a really big deal in American high schools.

Both were very good choices.  Best viewed in Large...fall colors are at their peak right now. Unfortunately, high winds today and for the next 2 days will knock down a lot of the colorful display.
