Some good news for a change!

Buying and selling elephant ivory is now illegal in the UK!
The UK Ivory Act came into force on the 6th of June 2022 making it illegal to deal in any items containing elephant ivory. Ivory dealers now face fines of up to £250,000 or 5 years in the clink.
This ivory Indian elephant was carved in Kerala, back in the days of the British Raj.
