Autumn in Matsumoto

We got the JR to Matsumoto today, and autumn seems further advanced in the Japanese Alps. 

This is a wonderful little town, and they are obsessed with frogs. From what we have been able to figure out their main river became polluted and the town set about clearing it up. And now the frogs have returned. 

Also apparantly the dragonflies. The massive one in the extras landed on dad outside a shrine.
