Soar

Working from home today. There had been a weather warning too, but the rains hadn't materialised by lunchtime, so I took Síofra for a walk. 
On the way back her leash slipped off the harness and my heart was briefly in my mouth, struggling for room with my lungs as I chased her down the road. She waited a bit and then dashed on a bit, then finally allowed me to get hold of her harness again. As she's new to us and still not that biddable I feared the worst. But it ended ok and she settled down to her work for the afternoon, as did I.
