KCNQ2Haiku

Busy bubbling away!

Slow cook for the win!
Throw it all in and leave it.
Hope it will be nice.

Possibly the worst photo and haiku!
You know it's a busy day when you have a picture of my tea :-D
Today I have spoken to a consultant, a GP, a speech therapist, a class teacher, a Occupational therapist, a head of school, a behaviour specialist, a school nurse, an educational psychologist, an assistant educational psychologist, a head of service and a clerk of governors..... amongst other people!  3 meetings in total (this is a small number for Mr KCNQ2Haiku who's work days sometimes involve 11 meetings a day.. but a large number for me, particularly given how many people were involved!)
Anyway, we're at the end. Broadly positive.  Managed to throw a sweet potato curry together in between meetings (photo) and that's been bubbling away in the bottom oven, so at least we can still eat :-D
School meeting was particularly interesting, they're going to try and move Ben to more of a functional skills timetable (rather than academic) which is what I was hoping for, he will still have lots of opportunities for academic development but his current needs are more around life skills and emotional regulation, so I'm pleased school can adapt to that.
Other meetings were consultant for Mr KCNQ2Haiku's ankle and a governor training course for me.  Both completed to various levels of success.
I'm off to stir peanut butter and basil into my tea :-) More tomorrow!
