Hospital visit

My lovely V changed her day off to come to the hospital with me in Dorchester. I’ve had a pain since Easter and have been waiting for an ultrasound since.

Initial diagnosis is a inguinal hernia. Apparently fairly common in older men, so not sure why I might have it :-), now await to hear from doctor with a plan.

Doctor kindly investigated another prominent pain whilst I was there and might have a small kidney stone as well. Fingers crossed that passes easily.

V guided me to Coffee#1 for a late lunch afterwards. When will I learn that those yummy looking slices never really taste as good as they look!

Spent time looking at the changes in Lightroom this afternoon.  Only one word. Wow! The power within masking is amazing.

There are a number of YouTube videos that go through the update but Julianne Cost is by far the best I’ve seen so far. Well worth a look if Lightroom editing is your bag.

Changes do elicit a pang of sadness however as I think it can easily diminish? the “effort” that went into the capture a photograph. So much can easily be changed or removed by the move of a slider or brush stroke.
