In the oakwood

Shorty after I took this picture, I noticed that the fish van was parked beside the shop, so I bought a fillet of undyed smoked haddock. (Note for supermarket shoppers, smoked haddock is not yellow.) I had in mind, of course to make Cullen Skink. This is a local fish soup whose main ingredients are smoked haddock, potatoes, onions and full fat milk. I made it tonight and it was so good that I scoffed the lot. I took a picture of it, but it didn't really convey anything.
