After The Storm

.......... we were rudely awoken around 6am by a very loud clap of thunder and torrential rain - the storm persisted for about an hour and a half and the rain continued but petered out mid afternoon.
Lots of local roads were flooded and several schools were closed, so I was quite pleased I didn’t need to go out anywhere.

This female blackbird braved the rain once it had eased off a bit ....... well, a girl’s got to eat ;-))
