……………………….to Nelson Flight

Christchurch greeted us with warm sunny Spring weather - unexpected but welcome.

Our luggage made it too which was a bonus. Because of the distance travelled we changed flights/planes three times and given staff shortage at airports post Covid our luggage could have easily been delayed.

Once customs and security were cleared and armed with our Covid testing kits we made our way to the domestic departure to wait for our final flight - from Christchurch to Nelson.

These snow topped mountains seen from above reminded us that winter was only a recent season and cooler temperatures  were to be expected at home.
