Beware!

Berry is stalking  lumps of cut grass which I may/ may not kick up for her to catch. They're very savage and need eliminating - as do puddles and sand!

After this I was off to the dentist to restore a crown to its rightful place - on top of a molar rather than in a little dish in the kitchen after it came off in a toffee incident.

Back home to progress with the polycrub but also sadness. The holes that were filled yesterday for posts had overnight causalities in the form of two pygmy shrews.  I'm supposing that they fell in, couldn't get out and had no shelter from the elements. We did have a mouse survivor who was rescued though.

Geoff, the polycrub man, and his mate worked late yesterday evening in order to keep things on schedule. They drilled through our waste pipe which meant a rush into town for repairing materials and they were back here about 8pm.  So far, we've been impressed with their attitude.

The old crown was stuck back in place for a couple of weeks whilst the new one looms expensively on the horizon. I'm holding that toffee to account!
