Old is good

I did a bit of digging around and discovered the Singer sewing machines Serial numbers list from the star of manufacture, back in the 1800s.
Turns out, this one was manufactured between January and June, 1913, in Clydebank, Scotland.
So, 100 years old.
Did a grand job of sewing the seams on the new top, as seen in yesterday's blip. It is going to be working hard again tomorrow.
It's not in pristine condition, but it has clearly been well looked after and well used.
It was found in our attic a few months after we moved in, 6 years ago, buried under a pile of junk and old wallpaper rolls that the previous owners left. Hopefully, I can get some use out of it over the next few weeks and months.
