A Pleasant Interval

When I went to bed last night, it was raining.  When I woke up it was still raining.  It was heavy - drumming on the roof heavy.  And much as I appreciate the rain, it's not particularly motivating.

I think the rain took offence at that and it absolutely poured down (with added thunder).

And then in the middle of the afternoon - boom, blue skies and sunshine for about 45 minutes.

We're back now to grey skies and probably more rain.
