Long day

I left home at 9:15 this morning and drove up to Telford. It wasn’t a nice journey- a lot of traffic and a lot of rain. At one point I could hardly see the white lines. I eventually arrived at my friend’s and was pleased to sit and eat a sea bass and ice cream lunch (as two courses, of course). We were at university together more than forty years ago and it was good to reminisce. 

Later I got back in my car and drove on to the cottage I stayed in a few months ago. The light was fading as I arrived but I managed a photograph of the low clouds. After a quick snack I pushed out the zzzs for an hour or so. 

Tomorrow is day 1 of a printmaking workshop.
