always watching

These jackdaws live in one of our chimney pots. They nest in there in the early spring, bring their young to the bird table, and tend to always be generally sitting around up there. Whenever I go out into the garden there’s always a few of them in the top of the tree just watching what I’m up to. It’s nice to have them around though - they’re a lot of fun even if they are noisy.
