Balancing Act

The rain has arrived!!! It is lovely to hear the big drops on the roof.

A young male Anna Hummingbirds loved the abundant blooms on my Salvia plant this morning. I couldn't get him in flight, but I like this shot of him sitting on a long stem and bouncing up and down. He reached forward to sip nectar; very cute.
