Familiar reflections

It seemed that the whole of Dervaig was congregating in the sports hall of Tobermory High School. I can only assume that we were called in by postcode to receive our fourth Covid jab and also a flu jab. It was a great opportunity for a catch-up with some folk whom we hadn’t seen for a while.

N took the opportunity to row out and check our boat while I did a bit of shopping. Then it was a quick drive back over the hill to check on Bertie who had been left home alone.

In the afternoon I spent some time preparing a starter (potted pheasant with gin and thyme) for our planned meal  on Saturday evening. It’s  a recipe I haven’t tried before so I hope that it works out well and that everyone likes it.
