Beddington Park: Little Grebe

Fluffier-seeming feathers in large

A Lake District getaway fell through (Im's not feeling terribly well), so Im and I have just been making more local plans, and we went for a brief walk around Beddington Park in the early afternoon. I initially had the macro lens mounted, and my eyes peeled for mushrooms (found a few), but it was the little grebes (through the long lens) that were the highlight of the visit.
OH, and a brief kingfisher sighting (first spotted by Imogen).
