" Well you don't see this everyday"!!! this was happening in my street this morning, I opened my front door and there in front of me was half a room belonging to someone's brand NEW home on a looooong oversized vehicle which half blocked the road! to the front of that was another looooong oversized vehicle which blocked the road completely!! this vehicle had the other half of the room, plus there was a humongous crane in front of that to lift both halves of the rooms that were to go on the top level of a newly built house that had begun a few weeks ago three blocks from me. we had heard it was to be a double storey home, the builders have been busy the last few weeks bricking the bottom half of this soon to be brand NEW house. Apparently bringing in two ready made halves for the top storey takes six months off the time to build a double storey home these days?? It took them all morning to level, screw, bang, chain, check and double check then hoist the first half, and put it in place, the two are now joined and just looks like an ordinary double storey brand NEW home, no one would know the excitement and blipping that went on this morning in my little quiet street! But now you all do!
