Hobbs's Run

Black Puddle

First there was rain ... then MORE rain ... then more rain STILL ... and finally ... um .... a heap of ... well ... RAIN. The country is drowning, most especially far flung outback locations that (up until now) hadn't really known what rain WAS. Now, if they aren't already in flood, they are soon expecting to be.

Up here in the Blue Mountains, water runs away downhill. If you are not at the bottom of a cliff - in which case you should be watching out for a landslip - you are probably not especially worried about the effects of all this ... yet.

In any event, endless puddles lie about, creating natural SOOC abstracts for the photographer, like this unruly offering, reflecting, as it does, a car park light above.

Oh and there's heaps more detail to be seen in LARGE against a dark background. Just sayin'.
