Beauty is all around us.

Plants growing together in our garden.

The Feast Day of Saint Boethius.
The Thirtieth Week of the Church Year.
This morning was mild and rainy.
We were happy to find normal indoors things to do, prayer, breakfast, hearing the Parish Church bells, buying a few food items for the Food Bank. It is 14c.
I forgot to put anything in the Co op animal food bank but then again the tub for the items was not there.
The Halloween decoration near and above the tills was in place.
I am not really wishing to participate in that aspect of the calendar. The origin of All Hallow's Eve has been trashed in some places, sadly. It does not inspire me.
Being a Christ follower is a chosen path yet can be awkward living in a mad, sad world, that contradicts the basic kindness and forgiveness of that path.
I will be sad when Maria returns to her place in Leeds later today, but I remain humbly thankful each time she appears.
Take care and enjoy Sunday.
