A rare visitor

As Mr MC was sweeping up yet more leaves behind the garage, he came across Mr or Miss Toad, a rare visitor for us.  He took her back to the pond area where I was able to get quite a few shots before she took shelter under the Bergenia leaves.  I'm sure that I haven't seen a toad in our garden for some years now, although they are certainly about.  Being small creatures, if they do make it down to the lower levels near the house, they are unable to get back up the various steps and walls without help.

Edit:  I have replaced the picture with a 'toned down' version' as clearly Miss Toad seemed to have turned purple after I auto corrected the colour on PS Elements!
