Lichen

We have had this garden ornament for years. It was on one of the trees that we had cut down. I have moved it the patio and become fascinated by the lichen. It grows in different shades of green.

Rain, rain, thunder and lightning....a few minutes of sun...then more rain! We decided to dash out in one of the dry patches to do some food shopping. And then quickly home to settle down for the afternoon.
